Abasaglar

My new Doctor has changed my insalin from Toujeo (been on for years !) To Abasglar. Also now having to check blood before meals.

She says it will be better for me !
Anyone else on this Abasglar ?

Not come across this one - its a 'Biosimilar to Lantus' which is glargine

Checking BG before meals means it will give you and your GP an idea if the dose of insulin is correct, and your treatment is working for you. More information means they can make better decisions for you.

Only the name is confusing but i did not notice difference compared to Lantus. The proce is lower probably.
