Am having two many issues with these and since I was put onto these back at end of March 3 have faied including one after just a single day. Its replacement as luckily I have a spare but this just droppedl off my arm. I assume was due to mild persperation which is natural - why - surely they would have taken this into account when producing the sensors?
I will be phoning Abbott on Monday for repacements
I clean the upper arm with spirit, wash and dry it before applying the sensor so it's not greasy skin
Any sensible suggestions?
Chris

My Freestyle Libre 2 has become a nightmare in the last couple of months.
Perhaps anyone else has had a similar set of issues with the persistent low glucose alarms in the middle of the nights even after I guzzled copious amounts of glucose drink.
My last two sensors simply quit after 7 days and 1 day respectively.
I use the app on my phones, first was the Samsung S20, and now it’s the Pixel 7 pro.

I keep my sensors in place by placing a piece of HYPAFIX on top, or any other plaster that is to hand.

Problems since March using the sensor on my apple phone contacted Libre they told me they would send a new sensor and to take my old one off and reapply the new one but in doing this you loose all your data it’s absolutely hopeless

Complain to abbott about your issues, there is a link to there sites or a facebook page. Try to tell every issues you have about your sensors. It's not easy, I was able to send an e-mail to them as there facebook or other site refuse to accept my text and what I try to enter, I am using Firefox with adblock due to minimize risk for getting virus to my Windows 10 installation. Very often they missunderstand what I wrote to them and repeat some for me obvious as there is a delay between sensor values and blodsuger measurement meter today using wellion meter.

It took me too long to get my head around my arm being curved and the sensor being flat.
Once I found a flatter, non-bending part of my arm (for me, this is far back and high on my arm), the sensor did not fall off.

I use tegaderm over my sensors and rarely have a problem despite swimming a lot.
