A few talented people create something to make people's lives easier and big pharma stomps on them.

I think it's digusting really. Nobody is taking anything away from them. On the contrary, the community does what Abbott is either scared to do or just can't for legal reasons, making their product even more popular in the process.

And all they'd need to do in order to make their patients' lives better is sell their stuff and shut up. But no, it just isn't good enough, is it.
