Abnormal liver blood test

Hi I’m type 2 diabetic and on no medication.On my annual blood test my hb1ac level was 49 and my liver blood results were abnormal,everything else was satisfactory ? Has anyone else had this, am booked in for a repeat blood test next week, should I be overly concerned about these results as I suffer from health anxiety as it is. Many thanks

My liver blood tests have been abnormal for quite a while. I was only diagnosed with diabetes in September but now my liver blood test results are normal for first time in years. I think losing some weight and reducing carbs have helped with the liver results as well as blood sugars. Sometimes I think liver tests can be abnormal but not needing action , maybe speak to your doctor and see what they say

I've had brie periods of slightly abnormal liver function tests. However they have always gone back to normal at the next test and started long before I had my coronary artery and T2 diabetes problems.
My GP suspected a mild viral infection such as a clod or mild 'flu at those times- apparently the liver is quite sensitive to those.
