Access to Blood Test Results


Yes, they always say 6 weeks but it usually earlier than that. I had mine last week. The nurse should do the foot check.

They said I'll get the retinal scan results in the post as well as a report going to GP. I guess it may appear on Patient Access, I noticed another report from the optician is on there from years ago. I'll ask GP about the foot check in July if I haven't heard by then.
 
Not quite.. I'll look up the time limits that GPs should have complied to. Scotland operates differently, not sure about Wales..
My understanding was that all GP surgeries had to provide on line access by May 2016 but when I mentioned this to the receptionist I was told that wasn't the case!
 
My GP surgery is in special measures as it drastically failed it's QCC inspection - it was recorded as unsafe due to the receptionists doing their own triage and not giving appointments to patients who should gave seen the doctor earlier plus most of the doctors left. It's now being managed by a team that was brought in to sort it out which sacked most of the receptionist so I'll see if it improves at all.
