T1 for 31 years, on a pump and no longer get any signs or warnings of hypos. Self-funding Freestyle sensors which help a lot during day at night. Four major hypos since 2014. First resulted in near fatal car crash so I no longer drive, and other three have been at night, most recent last weekend when I went into a diabetic coma. Couldn’t be roused and only solution was for paramedics to push glucose into blood intravenously. I’m in hotels 3-4 nights a week so help isn’t always available. What’s my best way of pushing for a Dexcom that will alert me to lows?

I should have added I also get at least 2-3 standard hypos per week but I treat these with help of Freestyle to spot them during day, or blood level just bounces back during night.
