Accu-Check Aviva: Supply Problems??

Back in the old school world of finger pricking, I just went to my Boots pharmacy and they could only supply 100 test strips due to supply problems ... ??? and they were rationing ... no further detail was/could be provided.

For what it's worth it might pay to order early?
 
There has been a quality problem with the test strips and a number of batches were recalled.
There are quite a few posts about it on the forum: search "Accu-check Aviva"
 
Hi CarlTorode,

I read an email update yesterday from Accu-Chek about an issue with some of their test strips, which I guess may cause some supply issues. Not sure if this covers your test strips?. I have uploaded a copy of the email with the actions they advise & the lot numbers of the affected test strips.
