Hey everyone! Hope y'all have had a good weekend!

So, I am just wondering if anyone knows if there is another blood glucose meter that you add you cards too. I have the Accu-Cjek Aviva Expert and I absolutely love this meter, I have had 2 now but unfortunately I was told by my diabetic nurse that they do not do those meters anymore. Question 1, is this true or do they just want everyone to be using apps now? Question 2, does anyone where if you can buy them anywhere for a reasonable price? As I was just having a look online and Ebay are selling one for £399.99 plus £5.99 for postage, I almost died from seeing that price! Question 3, was my reaction to that price dramatic? Is that meter really that expensive, even now?

Those meters have been discontinued by the manufacturer, thus the reason your nurses cant get them for you anymore, and you havent found any at the actual price they were

The ridiculous price you saw was people taking advantage of that and seeing if they could make some easy money, cos whilst I don't know the prices, its shouldn't be anywhere near that
