Accu Chek Cassette nearing expiry

I am sure this question has been asked many times, but I did a search and couldn't find an answer, my accu chek cassette expirers the end of march, will it still work after this time? I have another one new in the box which also had the same expiry date is that now useless?

Not sure tbh, some meters just wouldn't work when you tried to use out of date strips but this was when you had to replace the coding chip with each box of test strips, worth trying anyway as the meter will come up with an Error code if it rejects the cassette.
