Accucheck Insight and Swimming

Hi this might sound like a stupid question. I have recently gone on to the insight pump and am going swimming in the morning. I know the pump needs taking off but do you just stop the insulin? I do this when I go in the shower but the pump alarms all the time I am in there there, am I missing something?
 
Yep let it run.

I swim for about an hour, one day a week, test before and take hours dose before I swim or when I finish depending upon my levels.

I wear a Dexcom too and if I'm able to leave the receiver safely and dry on poolside then I can check this after 30 mins.

The Insight is water proof (see manual for depth and length of time), I wear mine in the shower but not yet swum with it on.
