I cannot calculate my BMR and how much weight I will loss if I reduce my calorie intake. The various calculators give anything from 2200kcal to 2800kcal as BMR. Is there an accurate one?
I don't think they can be accurate, it's a much more complex process than a reduction of a certain number of calories equals a certain weight loss.
I was 14st for years hardly varying, went on a low carb diet and dropped to 11st 7lbs in 6 months. 18 months later I am still 11st 7lbs and I haven't changed my diet. If I ate less calories for the initial weight loss why hasn't the loss continued?
It is all cloud cuckoo land - reducing calories reduces the metabolic rate to various degrees, depending on the individual.
Weightloss from reducing calories has always been a forlorn hope for me
