Hi guys

Can a large dose of Candesartan which is one of the angiotensin receiptors blocker family cause a severe hypoglycaemia during sleep?

my friend is taking 8mg of candesartan everyday and he had many unpredictable hypo during night? he fixed everything but still need to make sure if anyone had hypo related to this medicine?

because there is a warning in novorapid paper that these type of medicine may cause a hypo

his doctor had given him this medicine before a while as maintenance dose forever.. so if he take 4mg as a maintenance dose would that be good to prevent any kidney complications?

I've been on Candesartan for a few years now. I've never had any hypos due to this medication.
