Hi

In the past few days I have noticed an increased pins & needles feeling in my feet, legs, hands & my joints really ache, especially my wrists. I also complain that when my son (who is 6) leans or climbs on me he feels incredibly heavy which he isn't (4 stone)

Could any of this be symptoms of something I should mention to my DN when I see her next week?

Many thanks Linzi

Hi Linzi,

Yes, time flies when you're having fun doesn't it?

As you've probably read from the link above, I had a bit of a "wobble" yesterday; but back on track again today. :D

Hi db,

You can experience some of the syptoms that you describe with uncontrolled diabetes, running hyper all the time makes these syptoms worse.

I would recommend that you get in touch with your dsn and discuss these syptoms and your overall control too.

Yes Nigel,

I guess this just reinforces the logic of testing yourself regularly.

db,

Absolutely not!

That's great control in my view, it may be worth seeing your doctor in the mean time and discuss, it could be a side-effect of drugs you are taking for example,or something missing in your diet. There's no harm in keeping your appointment with your dsn as well.
