Hi I’ve been type 1 for 47 years now and I have good control but in recent months I have struggled when walking due to pain and burning in my feet
My nurse has said my circulation is good but sent me to see a podiatrist who confirmed that and recommended insoles I have been wearing these for a while and although I sensed some improvement I am still only able to walk a short distance
I am convinced this is neuropathy but the experts say it’s not
Has anyone out there experienced similar symptoms

Yep. And it's got progressively worse for me despite sugar level medication. Used to get really sharp pain in the arches of my feet during the night. Now it's pretty much my whole foot, feel like they are in an ice bucket. It's getting painful in my ankles too and now my wrist and hands. I have started taking Gabapentin but so far very little relief. Good luck and hope you get treatment that works for you.
