Hi Iam new to this forum ! Iam a type 2 diabetic of slim build ! Is aching uncomfortable legs a common problem ?

Hi Boo, Are you newly diagnosed? When I was diagnosed I had similar problem with deep ache in calves and also cramping at night, think it was probably due to the dehydration - glad to say it's all cleared up now. Hope it eases soon, but mention it to doctor if not.

Oh hi Julie that's interesting sld I drink more on metformin? I was diagnosed six months ago

Night cramps, feet tingling, aching joints are very regular issues on this forum. As Julie suggests, keep well hydrated. It's not just a diabetes thing, have a look at www.cosyfeet.com and you'll see there is a big market for pampering poor feet and legs.

It helps to keep your feet warm, bedsocks, slippers etc etc. but hydration is a big factor.
