Hi all,
I have had my first acupuncture treatment today for something unrelated to my type 1 and twice since the session I have been shaking quite bad.. tested myself and I was 5.6 both times. It's actually quite nerve wracking. Not felt thus shaky for a long time, not even with hypos.

Has anyone else had any acupuncture before and experienced similar? I'm guessing it's a more of a 'release' of blocked energy or something but it's just rather scary.

Thanks,
Laura

Hey

So I'm type 1 and have had a few sessions of acupuncture over the years.

Feeling shaky is normal - same if you have a really hard massage. Possibly slightly dehydrated & toxins etc being released. Drink lots (water) and sleep.

Hopefully it will resolve itself & the acupuncture works!

Mel

Thank you, hopefully it won't last too long.
