I'm looking for some advice on how to adjust my insulin before/during/after exercise. I go to aqua-aerobics for an hour, the first time I went my BG was 5.4 before the class started, I disconnected my pump and after the class BG was 3.2. Last time, I cut my basal down to 30% for 1.5 hours before the class, BG was 6.7 before the class but was 16.9 afterwards. Any ideas on what to try next?
Also, I'm planning on starting to jog, I'm not very fit so will start slowly - does anyone have any advice on how to adjust before/during and after?
