i am type 1 diabetic,i have a query about my friends child,would you please be able too give her some answers that the doctors cant.
she has always been a poorly sickly baby but now her daughter is 10 years old this month,she has ketotic hypoglycaemia,severe asthma and eczema and hay fever (bless)
she has just had to be rushed into hospital 2weeks ago as she was hypo bloods of 2.9 and temperature of 38-39 but her normal temp is 35.
we have been reading about diabetes LADA (i think thats what its called)she seems to fit the questions they have asked.
she has got no feeling in her little two toes,
when one condition is bad it seems to set the rest off is there any advice or other symptoms she should look out for? will she become a diabetic as type 1 runs in the family,she does get bloods of 1.0 and goes into unconciousness
the doctors have gave her a glucogon pen and has been shown how to give a glucose bolus to her child.BUT they seem to think she is not diabetic please help
