Depends what veg you are eating because some are high in carbs, esp theI need help I'm type 2 and although my blood sugars have been well controlled for a while at around 6.2 latest. If been going to the gym I have lost 6 stone in the last 5 years but am struggling to lose any more. I on what I hope is a balanced diet. No processed food plenty protein a few carbs and plenty veg. Does anyone have any ideas what might be preventing me from losing more. If been stuck at 19 stone now for 2 months even though iv been going to the gym 5 days a week, and I walk about 5 miles a day at work. Cheers

If had conflicting advice from doctors one says reduce carbs to a bare minimum the other says eating more carbs help your body to balance the blood sugars better but I could probably do with cutting out potato altogether.
It's difficult. I did reduce to almost zero but found in had little or no energy when out non my bike or at the gym.
