Hi
So have had quite a lot on recently - stressful situations - my diabetes has really been giving me a hard time
To the point I had Friday & Saturday off with horrendous high sugars
I tried contacting my nurse - no response - to the point I called the Switcboard to speak with the DSN of the day
I had a call back - so overnight I was running very high - at 8.02 pm the pump gave me the last correction. - then for 7 hours it kept me out of range with no corrections from the pump at all?!!! The nurse if the day said well you’re doing everything right just keep going - this is after I had been off 1 day
Today has been another horrendous day

Hi Sasha1!

You have obviously been having a rough time. With sugars that high you do not feel great.

Some questions for you.

What pump and sensor do you use ?

Are you due to change anything such as your sensor or pod ? Could it be that is where the problem lies.
Have you given a correction using your pen
D
Have you done a finger prick to verify your readings and checked your ketones ? There could be inaccuracies in the sensor or could you be unwell

Sorry if these are things you have already thought about / done/checked

Hope is some help

Let me know how things go

Hi
I have the Medtronic 780 with guardian 4
Not due to change sensor or canula yet - contacted my nurse on Friday by email she only now responded today asking if I changed my canula - yes I did & did I carb count for my meal- yes I did - this meal 3 chicken wings, 3 boiled
Potatoes & 60g beetroot - carb counted - actually didn’t move after tea for about an hour took me to 18.9
These highs are wrecking me -

Hi

I can only imagine how you are feeling. It is very frustrating, no matter what you are doing things are not improving. Sorry for my questions, these were things that went through my mind as to solutions

It’s just the lack of help from my nurse I’ll be honest - so frustrating - I try my best with the diabetes
I just don’t understand why the pump has stopped giving correction - been in double figures since 1.15 today for goodness sake -
I’ve changed my set & insulin - my last bm was 14.8
