My sugars seem to be all over the place. Have had a virus and last night's was 11.9, this mornings was 12.9, this afternoon 6.4 and tonight's is back at 12.9.what does anyone think I need to do?

Hi Julie and welcome to the forum.
Any infection/virus will play havoc with your blood sugars but they will eventually settle down when your body is back to normal.
Keep your fluid intake up and try some moderate exercise if you feel well enough.

welcome to the forum, there is a wealth of information and It's good to see you have a meter
Catherine is spot on and it's a matter of riding it out, cutting your carb intake will help a bit too, stick with the proteins and healthy fats

Yes, illness has a big effect on blood sugar. I recently had surgery and my insulin needs shot up and have now come back down again. So, don't panic just keep an eye on the meter and hopefully things will return to normal
