Hi all, need some advice please, my blood sugars are usually on high side Ave 11 or so am on Victoza now as well as gliclizide so starting to come down gradually previous average was about 19! Last few days my levels have fluctuated quite a lot to last night I checked at 7pm ish as I felt ****** and I was at 26.9 2 hours later 5.7 and stayed roughly there but felt like I was having a hypo (had hypos when pregnant) and I'm still shaking, can't focus or concentrate and I've been vomiting quite badly I can't keep anything down, tried to get a GP appt but none available I can't look after my 2 year old as im so dizzy and unsteady on my feet, is there anything you can suggest that may make me feel better until I can get a GP appt - probably be tomoro. Thanks

Get yourself to a Doctor immediately, it sounds like you've had a rough time and with a toddler to look after it needs to be sorted asap

Hi. Victoza can have nasty side effects for some. Can I assume you have some excess weight? If so, then having a low-carb diet is a high priority and will help redcue both weight and blood sugar. If it works well you may be able to agree with the GP to stop or reduce the Victoza and just use tablets and or insulin?
