As in the title, is it best to leave the basal rates for a couple of days even if your bloods are dropping at the same time of day?
I was going high just after 12 noon after breakfast around 10 am so increased the basal rates a little (0.02Uh) but started having hypos so changed my IS to counter this but still dropping, DSN dropped them again on Wednesday still dropping Thursday, I decreased it by 0.01Uh yesterday but still dropping :( at the same time.

Have you done testing whilst fasting to be sure basal rates are set just right? This is essential really. Keep in touch with DSN though.

I work 6 days a week as a chef and there is no pattern to the week at all, some days are mad busy some are dead.

Will do some after the op on my wrist next week (if it goes ahead, been cancelled once)

I'm quite lucky and only have one basal rate set, but do know a few others who have lots and one lady who adjusts her's throughout the day (having around 5) switching between them as her day develops. You might need to think about having a busy day Basal and a slow day basal and then see how you get on. Doing two sets of fasting for each I guess would be needed though.

thanks for the reply, what I ment is if I change the basal rate from 08.00 to 09.00 and 09.00-10.00 should I leave that for a few days if still going low at 12.00 (or around that time)
