After meal high readings

Hi everyone, I am prediabetic with impaired glucose tolerance. My last Hbac1 was 6.9. When I check my FBS it's usually around 6.1 with an occasional 7, lately I've been feeling tired and thirsty after my evening meal and when I checked my levels two or three hours later they have been as high as 12 and 14mmols. I haven't seen my doctor for over 6 months - mentioned testing once but he said I would get obsessed - anyone out there think I should be concerned?

Hello from another prediabetic. How about making an apointment at the docs, just to put your mind at rest one way or another. We are more likely to become diabetic, but personally I am following the advice on the forum and keeping fingers and toes crossed. :lol: Hope it works out for you.

Can you tell us what you had been eating when you got those high readings ?
