I'm a little confused.
I test my bg and bolus about 20mins before my meal and then I like to test again two hours after my meal.

Do people test two hours after they bolus or two hours after the last mouthful?

Typically two hours after you start eating. Although it's fairly negligible considering that most people I know will finish a meal in 10-15 minutes.

Really struggle to do anything that exact when it comes to testing. If you always test 2 hrs after 1st mouthful then the only information you get is exactly that. I like to vary the times to see a bigger picture.
Whichever way you do it though, the most important thing is using the information constructively and using it to enable you to improve or maintain control.

Good idea.
If I test two hours after I've normally gone up by 3mmol which is about right I guess. I just need to get my before meal testing level right and I should be good.. hopefully..

You is crazy :wacky:

Seriously, good luck chick. Wish you all the best. Most importantly, have fun practising :D

I must be insane!!!

Thank you, just struggling a bit to get my bloods in order. I think I may be verging on the edge of obsession!
