Type 2 After reversal

@Crocodile could you let me know if you discover anything interesting please.

Nothing yet but I'm due to see my GP in two weeks for my HbA1c and a whole gamut of other things I'm keeping an eye on like cholesterol and kidney function. My neuropathy is very mild and doesn't appear to be progressing very quickly. Some days I get slight pain in my toes but not too much. mostly it just feels a little numb. My BG has been good for so long now that I'm not convinced that it is diabetic related. I'll keep pushing for an answer.

Hey croc, how long you been diagnosed please? How long u had it controlled And when did neuropathy first start?

I think I need immediate results and the testing seems to be a good fit for me.
The positive reinforcement strategy works for me @flexi06. I used to graze on food throughout the day without thinking about what I was eating. With testing part of my daily routine I find that I will have a meal then avoid eating til I test 2 hours later. It helps keep me honest and on track and is worth every penny. Actually, with what I have saved on food costs, it's a real bargain!;)

Very succinctly put- actually happened to me today- I’m really tired and hungry and feel awful and I wanted food earlier but new I was due a test and I’m focused on lowering bg, so I did not have any. Much easier to “ cheat” if there are no immediate consequences. I think testing will keep me in check too. Thanks sweetie.

I had neuropathy reduced kidney function and retinopathy on diagnosis I now longer have retinopathy but am committed to try stopping the other two getting worse so have to keep blood sugars under control and so will carry on testing indefinitely..
