After the Whipple

My husband has pc and receiving 5fu therapy. He had the whipple 6 months ago. Chemo has been rough, but we suspect post whipple complications are causing more problems. Following bowel movements he feels movement in his lower abdomen with severe pain and has immediate nausea and usually vomits. Cancer doc doesn't understand it and we're waiting to see a gastro. Hard to see a pattern correlating with specific foods. Anyone familiar with this problem?

HI @Hope4tomorrow, Your husband sounds like he needs tests to rule out some hold up in his stomach area but that is just my guess. A friend of mine was put on medication to help his stomach empty.
I would have thought a review by the surgeon would be in order also.
