Hi Folks. I was diagnosed in February this year with type 2. Set about a diet to loose weight and have lost about 10kg since. Went for my second blood test yesterday waiting results. Whilst I have managed to get my weight down I don't yet know how its effecting my sugars, we'll see.
I've been looking at the low carb. diet option and last night downloaded the 30 day meal plan. Noticed quiet a few recipes use Agave Necter. I'd never heard of this so looked it up. One article says it is high in Fructose which studies have shown can cause liver problems and is not recommended.
