Type 2 Agave nectar

Hi @pcs63 and welcome to the forum :)

I wouldn't use agave nectar myself as it is very high in carbs. I use Truvia as a sweetener.

Do you find you get a liquorice aftertaste with truvia? I tried some in some fat bombs i made yesterday with cocoa powder but it seems to have an odd afteraste. Not sure if it's me or maybe the cocoa powder. or the truvia (I have never used it before).
Thanks

Not really, but then I wouldn't be complaining as I like liquorice. Remember it is three times as sweet as sugar then subtract a bit more as it's still too sweet these days.

Not sure about liquorice but Truvia did give me an aftertaste I didn't like.
The cheap sucralose from Lidl has worked out best in my cooking (in the yellow jar)

OK must just be my odd taste buds then.. thanks tho..

Definitely not just you.
I can't stand anything that has stevia in it - horrible aftertaste.

Bought some Truvia recently, because it seemed simpler to follow a recipe than try and do sweetener substitute conversions.
Urrgh! Next time I will make the effort.
The stevia aftertaste wrecked the whole thing (for me). Mr B didn't notice anything wrong though, so I suspect it is something to do with how some people's taste buds work. :)
