Hi there, I've had type 1 since I was 15 so 30 years now. All ok (as much as you can say that with type 1, lol). No complications as yet but I've started noticing that I don't react to colds and other viruses like I used to. Much higher sugars these days, enormous fatigue (I know prob due to sugars). Seems to take a couple or three weeks to get better whereas it used to be days.
Anybody else notice that the common cold is doing a number on them as they age with Type 1?

Hello and welcome to the forum. Must admit to not noticing anything out of the ordinary in that dept but then I do have the advantage of a pump :) Type 1 since the age of 4 1/2 so just clocked up 51 years on insulin.
