Type 2 ahhhhh 27.3

Hi, new on here but need help badly. Diagnosed just over 10 years ago with type 2 insulin dependant. My sugar levels have not been properly managed and I am now starting to pay the price. I have neuropathy in my legs and hands which is extremely painful and my eyesight is blurred. tested my sugar level just now and it is 27.3, went to take my insulin and the pen had 8 units left. no where near enough to bring it down. I am at work and forgot to put another pen in my bag before leaving home. i have another 4 hours before i finish work, do i leave or can i wait til i get home?

Leave. I wouldn't wait 4 hours with those numbers.
Don't drive if in any way in doubt you can do so safely.

I hope you recover from this episode quickly and feel better soon. When you’re sorted, how about you come back and maybe we can help with some dietary suggestions to help bring your numbers down generally? We have had members improving their levels and neuropathy and eyesight have improved too.
