Going for a NYE night out tomorrow, usually I don't even think about this stuff and just go.
On the old 30/70 system I would just eat a few more carbs before a night out; should I just do the same? On the new basel/bolus is there a knack for tweaking the insulin whist out drinking.
Also my drinks are usually just a whisky with diet coke or water and ice, having said that sometimes i love a good old fashioned too.
I'm not keen on taking an additional shot if my levels are high after a night out, with the 30/70 by the morning they usually level out if high if <6 i usually have a toast to stop a late night low.
