S Sheppie84 Well-Known Member Messages 80 Mar 27, 2013 #1 I'm going out tomorrow with some work friends and wondered if a few Malibu's would be a serious issue with my relatively new diagnosis of LADA? Is there anything I can do that enables me to have a drink without going too high or low? So far I'm not on insulin - managing through diet only but levels have fluctuated more recently so I expect insulin at my next DSN appt. Thanks xx Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

It's a good idea to have a snack with alcohol and test your BS prior to going to bed. Alcohol can initially raise sugars but then lower them. Sent from the Diabetes Forum App
