Helloooo folks

My dietitian said I can allow myself 2 pirtuons/meals per week of oily fish.
I adore Aldis mackerel fillets in the vaccum pack, all varieties and I told her that they are high in the fat, but that it's omega 3, she said it would not have that on the pack and I should only have 'x' amount of saturated fat per 100g .

So, are these ok to eat, even 3-4 times week if I wanted to please? Also, she said the tinned mackerel is fine, but not in tomato sauce. Bit daunted now to be honest.
Thank you

Have you got any other health issues that affects how much fat you can eat if not the mackerel should be fine. I often make pate with those I love it.

I do love them haha.
Thanks everyone. Pretty lunch test was 5.8, after eating the above (2 fillets) with mixed salad, 2 he's later my reading was 7.0
Is that good?

That is a good lunch and those readings are very good especially considering how high you were just in the last few days. I think you are getting the hang of things:D

I eat this perhaps 2 to 3 times a week, they are so versatile and should help your good cholesterol (did for me).
