I’m currently using an accuchek mobile and. Like the all in one aspect with attached multiple lancet and no strips (cassette instead) with the bonus of a Bluetooth connector and my sugr app included. The only downside is it’s fairly bulky but probably less so than carrying all the bits separately. However I suspect it may be coming to the end of its useful like.

I’m looking at https://www.betachekc50.co.uk/ This as the only other all in one I can find. Is anyone using it? How is it? The only negative seems to be lack of Bluetooth which I’d really miss to upload results.

Anyone know of any others?

According to their website it has bluetooth capability built in.

"* BETACHEK® C50 has an on-board internal bluetooth transmitter. There is no need to purchase any additional hardware"

After reading the details and watching some videos on the betachek I would say the Accuchek mobile is still the better option as it is about the same size has a motor to wind the cassette and the finger pricker holds six lancets !

I agree the mobile has the better lancer for sure. Sadly the mobile is now discontinued though, hence the hunt for a replacement before mine gives up.

That's bad news I've been using the accuchek for years , perhaps I'll have to start looking for a replacement , I guess they will start to phase out the cassettes which I see are double the price of the Betachek .

I've just been in touch with Roche and they have told me the Accu - chek mobile was discontinued in June but the cassettes will still be available for the forceable future , they are not bringing out a similar meter so it looks like getting a Betachek or going back to test strips will be the only alternative .

That’s what it’s looking like to me too. Opening the cover isn’t always turning the meter on as it should and I’d rather find the replacement before it fails (and the Bluetooth connection has failed yet again). I was intending to just replace it with a new set but it seems I’m now shopping for a new one. I really don’t want to go back to strips having only used them for a few weeks when first diagnosed nearly 5yrs ago. The betachek is the only other one I can find. I have loads of lancet drums so will continue with that for now at home which is where the vast majority of my testing takes place.

Theres a fair few places doing the mobile cassette for around £15 and the betachek seems to be a couple of pounds less
