ALMASED - Your opinions please??

In the diabetic magazine this month, there was an advert for this product. I was wondering if anyone on Type II diabetes had tried this product? I have tried the shakes but I have sent my sugars very high. This should be perfect for Type II diabetes it claims. I am overweight by around two stone and need to get this off very quickly as my breathing is becoming worse.

If you're talking about Glucerna SR, I had a very similar experience - despite the SR claim, my BG skyrocketed after using it. Took it back to the chemist and told them I didn't expect a refund, but that they should warn other Type 2's that the 30g of carbs in the shakes are anything but "slow release" - more like a tidal wave :eek:
