Almond Flour

Hi

I'm sorry if this has been asked before.

Where can you buy Almond Flour from? I looked in Asda and Tesco today but couldn't find any. Will it be in the home-baking section?

You can buy ground almonds - it's the same thing I'm told. I've used it and it does work, but it's expensive.

as @Loobles said, most people just use ground almonds, I think the flour has less oil and ground finer and even more expensive than ground almonds

I use ground almonds from Aldi (about £1.30 per 300g packet).

Yes, they are in homebaking, with nuts. ASDA do it too, but it's more expensive than Aldi

*sigh* I wish we had an Aldi or a Lidl. Only place that sells almond flour is my local health food shop at £3 for 250g! Ah, but it's organic I expect ... but I've just made the almond cheese bread in the recipe section and it's lush

You can always buy almonds and grind them yourself.

Holland and Barrett ..better when there is an offer on ....also coconut flour .....amazon and Asian supermarkets ...much bigger bags there ...

Weirdly it's often cheaper to buy almonds ground rather than whole in the supermarkets. I can't explain that but I'm not complaining
