Can anyone please tell me where they purchase their almond flour from ?
Also is glutton free flour ok to use ?
Many thanks in advance for your help x

I use ground almonds for almond flour. Much cheaper. I wouldn't use gluten free flour myself.

I buy my own almonds and grind them into flour using my blender. If you buy peeled almonds you will get a flour exactly like the Holland and Barrett packet but a lot lot cheaper! You can use unpeeled almonds which also gives you a flour which is called almond meal, it's a different taste worth trying both to see which you like best.

My mum got me a big 3lb bag of almond flour from Costco a few months ago. I remember thinking it was cheap, but they have discontinued it at our local store (Springburn). Worth looking out for it at other stores maybe. The brand was Honeyville.

Ground almonds is the same thing and any supermarket sells them :)
Gluten free flour is very high carb so not a good idea.

Ground almonds are a bit more coarse for baking than the actual flour but once they've been through the food blender it's as you said exactly the same product.

Thank you all for your help
I won't bother with the glutton free flour then, I will buy the almonds and ground them myself xx
