I'm trying to put some weight on. I've bought almonds as been told there good for weight gain and healthy. I've found them boring. What can i do to make them a bit tastier?

I add a little olive oil, sprinkle salt chillie powder if you like mix altogether and slow cook in oven making sure it doesn't burn, cool and store, eat when ever you like. Enjoy.

Other nuts like macadamia walnuts pecans are all high in fat. It's not just almonds.

You can use ground almonds to make bread and sweet or savoury muffins. You can skin and toast or fry them and add as a garnish to various main dishes. They also used in a number of middle eastern dishes, have a look for Moroccan lamb, apricot and almond recipes. As already suggested you can make marzipan, and a sort of porridge with them too. Just ask Mr Google and you'll probably be overwhelmed with ideas!

They're a staple part of my low carb diet.
