I am just scared of the thought of insulin. However I can't stand the tingling in my toes. It isn't right. Thus is it better to be tested? Is there any advice on diet?

Post-meal BG > 11.1 mmol/l is diagnostic of diabetes with classic symptoms (polyurina, etc). Go see your GP.

You probably won't need to go on insulin even if you are diabetic, which you may well be from your readings. See the doctor and get some proper tests. You can worry about diets when you know the score. Good luck, and come back to this forum for more info if you are diagnosed diabetic.CAT NM said:
