Am I getting this right?

I'm logging everything that passes my lips on My Fitness Pal and I'm feeling good except for splitting headache today but that's due to not enough water. Anyway my daily targets are as follows:

1200 calories
10% carbs = 30g
25% protein = 75g
65% fat = 87g

I am having no problems keeping under 30g of carbs but my protein often comes in higher than my fat intake. I have coffee cream, nuts, avocados etc but the fish and chicken for my evening meal pushes my protein up.

So, this question is twofold - are my targets in line with LCHF and any suggestions for getting the protein and fat balanced?

I'm a bit OCD so like to get things right:D

What are your glucose levels like? I go by what's happening with them and let these and my meter (and if necessary my scales :D) tell me how I'm doing.

Check online for one of the low carb nutritional calculators to check for correct percentages of carbs, protein and fats for your age, weight, activity levels, etc, as these should be specific to your situation.

I think you shouldn't be too fussed over daily figures - I doubt if we can ever expect these to be 100% accurate - we live in the real variable world not in a precise, static, laboratory situation, so try to work on weekly or fortnightly averages instead. Often it's initially hard to accept that we can't have absolute control - but we have to, or we drive ourselves up the wall.
