Hi Guys, I am new here so i really hope i am doing this right,
I really need some advice as i am a little worried right now, My daughter Angel is Type 1 and has been since she was 3 , she is now 7 and using a pump happily, However Angel decided she wanted to join a cheer-leading club, so after after investigating we signed her up to one of the best in our area, Now then my problem is I am unable to watch a session to see and regularly test angel , as suggested by our diabetic nurse , (in the end i managed to convince them to let her out every 20 mins and i sat outside on the street where she would come for checks) They were not remotely interested in her diabetes they just let her in the room and shut me out. Am i being a neurotic mum expecting them to help with this situation.
Angel doesnt always hypo symptoms infact this morning school have called and she has had a 1.1 with no symptoms what so ever.
Any advice will be greatly received folks ..
