Hi - new here. I've noticed I occasionally feel weak and shaky late in the afternoon, and then managed to associate it with days I'd eaten particular things for lunch. I obtained a free blood glucose meter from work yesterday and did a few tests: Before lunch, my level was 6.4 (hadn't eatent for 4 hours). I ate the suspect lunch. 1 hour later, I was 14.9 2 hours after eating, 10.3 3 hours after eating, 3.7 and I felt really shaky/weak. I dont think I get like this when I eat anything other than what I had. Checked my levels half hour after I woke this morning. 6.8 (Last thing I ate was some chocolate 9 hrs previous ). I would think that's a bit high? 1 hour after breakfast 8.7 1.5 hours 7.0 3 hours 5.7 Before lunch 5.9 45 min after lunch 9.6 (different lunch today) 3 hrs after 6.3 4 hrs 5.2 No shaky/weak feelings today. I don't know much about this, but from what I've read I would think 6.8 of a morning was too high. And I'd think the spike and crash at lunch yesterday was a bit extreme. Today was not so bad. Any thoughts on these levels? Should I go see a doctor for an opinion?
