Hi
I seem to have begun to discover why always I have problems with protein (high BG)

I have read that the absence of insulin converts the protein into amino acids Not the problem of total absence of carbohydrates
The amino acid turns into glucose. This explains why I find a problem in proteins even though they do not contain carbohydrates

I loved to share this information with you
I would like to add any information from the members and thank you

Yes, amino acids from protein (plus fat) is converted into Glucose via a process called Gluconeogenesis. I didn't notice this until I went low carb and I've read it usually happens in the absence of carbs in a meal

Thank you everyone who add informations
I have read some information in a book that this process occurs when the lack of insulin and not when the lack of carbohydrates
This may explain why some patients find a problem with protein and others do not find any problem with protein I'm not sure
