Well, it seems to make a lot of people happy, especially children. If I had kids in my life I'd celebrate too, but the only 'kid' in my life is my (what's the modern PC word for mentally handicapped?) 49 year old sister, who really loves Christmas. I'll buy her some pressies and send them to her, but she lives far away, so I won't be seeing her.
Personally I look forward to January, but a general ban ...? Nah
