Type 1 Animas pump

Hi I had an email yesterday from animas U.K. and Ireland . The y are saying they are stopping all U.K. and Ireland supplies of there pump , but will be able to get them until your warranty runs out and suggested that I change to a different pump, as I won’t be able to get hold of there product, . Can anybody shine a light on this for me as I have been on this pump for 9 years and pretty worried

If you've had the same pump for 9 years it may well be out of warranty already. I've been told when I get my pump I would keep it for 4 years initially. I suggest you talk to your endo team about swapping. Unfortunately the company behind animas is pulling out of pumps altogether.

Hi Frances , thanks for the reply , I have had different pumps from animas , . I have been with the company for 9 years and changed pumps with them , I have always had the same style of pump , will be strange changing to a different type of pump
