Animas stiff plungers

Hello

A while ago I opened a box of animas resevoirs to do a cartridge fill and noticed the plunger was much stiffer to move up and down. It did move but took noticably more force. Once inserted my sugars ran higher and I needed to add a temp basal. I wasn't sure if it was the plungers or not so I stopped using that box and everything settled down.

Yesterday I opened a box from my latest order and they are the same, much stiffer. My sugars are running slightly high again and I am having to use +30% basal. All my boxes of resevoirs are from the same batch. Should I send them back?

Anyone else noticed or come across this?

We've had a case in Denmark with faulty needles - the people using them 'thought' they were injecting properly, but nothing or little came out the other end.

I'd return them with a complaint.

Not pumping, but sounds off.

Mushy, funny you say that because I noticed that the plunger seems stiffer than usual but thought it was my imagination. That was the one I used a week or so ago but the last one done yesterday morning seemed to be okay again. Jess' readings have been okay but I did increase basal recently (nothing unusual as we do that quite often), I can't remember now if that was shortly after or before using this batch of reservoirs. Do you have a batch number, we could see if they are the same batch as ours?

Yes they are LOT no B201766

I have also written down the old box batch as LOT B201690

Please let me know if that matches!

Our lot number is B201749. I haven't had another one yet that feels stiff so not sure if for us it was a one-off, Jess' readings seem to be fine but as I say did increase basal slightly recently.
