I'm off to chat to Jan my DSN today about pumps!! Wish me luck!

I can't make up my mind between the Vibe, the OmniPod and the Accuchek Roche so I'm hoping Jan can steer me in the right direction! Exciting!!

Hi I started with the Medtronic pump after 4 years went onto animas vibe and after nearly another 4 years can't wait to go back on the medtronic
I don't like the vibe its screen is to fragile

But you cant get Dex paired with anything other than animas vibe currently - if thats what you want.

I've had a horse double barrel my Vibe and it didn't break. (Vibe not horse)

Same here, the Vibe has been durable in my experience, screen included, though I haven't put it to the "horse test"!

Hi all, I decided in the end to give the Vibe a try and the Omnipod. The nurse has actually fitted the Vibe to me today to try first (only with saline of course!) so will see how I get on with it. The insertion was pretty painless, I was pleasantly surprised. Still reckon I'm going to prefer the Omnipod though as I hate tubing! :-/
