Easier in what way, Sonny?

If those are the two pumps you're interested in, then why not look at their websites where you can get an idea of what the pump is like?

I have an Animas Vibe and I think it's great, but I've not used an Omnipod so I can't compare the two.

What's important for you when you're choosing a pump?
 
The vibe is a good pump as are all the pumps for different reasons. As you said your were having the omnipod then that's a great pump for you as you have nothing to compare it to.
 
Then the only choice would be Vibe as its intergrated and much cheaper to run

That's not strictly true. A Medtronic device is also possible (but more expensive) and if @Sonnyb2 has access to US technology, there is also the T-Slim with Dexcom integration.
 
I have a vibe and I like it as it is easy to use and waterproof but I have not even seen an omniod so cant compare. I wanted the cgm but I do not qualify and it is really hard to get funding and it is really expensive to pay yourself. My diabetes nurse says the one with the blood test machine- https://abbottdiabetescare.co.uk/our-products/freestyle-libre
is the closest to being free on prescription and they are pushing for it very hard the moment.

I thought your pump was ordered and you were going to start on the Omnipod in February! If this is the case you wont be allowed to change the order now.

Why do you want a CGM Sonny and do you know how it works? You will still need to do loads of blood tests if you had one and it still doesn't take away the hard work involved with pumping.
 
Hi. I am also looking into a CGM but understand that this is only available in UK via own funding. However, I have heard some good things about the Omnipod. Just wonder if this is the year when funding will be available for the pumps+CGM devices that seem to be emerging??????
