Another day another worry

Hi
sorry to keep complaining but today I have another worry!

I've had a burning sensation in my feet all day today - its like the feeling you get when your toes are frozen in the winter and then thaw out in the warm. I also have very itchy palms but I've had this for months now. I've had the toe feeling every so often but not regularly like the itchy hands

Any suggestions

If your feet are the biggest problem, call the podiatry department at your hospital. As adiabetic, you are allowed to self refer. You'll just be asked to fill in a form. I did this when I had an ingrowing toenail.
For the hands, just taks a normal antihistamine
Do you do any exercise? Improving your circulation mught help

I'll call hospital, feet are driving mad today. Hands itch constantly but only in my palms!

I try and go to gym and treadmill and powerplate at least 3 times a week, altough I've not been at all this week because I'm feeling so rubbishy!

High BG can cause peripheral neuropathy long before you reach the diagnostic threshold for diabetes.

One thing that happens when you reduce your BG is that the damaged nerves regenerate. As they do so they may start conducting pain signals again which were previously absent, thus sometimes you have to get worse before you get better!
